According to EMDRIA, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. EMDR supports the brain in moving toward its natural tendency and ability to heal itself. The goal is for the unprocessed traumatic memory to be resolved.
Grief is a reaction to any form of loss. The grieving process can look different for each person, but meeting with others who have experienced loss can be a beneficial step on the healing journey. We offer grief groups for all ages (3 years old to adults) and all kinds of loss. To view our grief therapist’s profile click here.
Christian therapy combines your faith with the common psychotherapy principles. Our therapists are specifically trained in inner healing techniques that invite God’s healing into the space of each session. We believe that God wants to identify the root of trauma, pain, and mental health to shine a light on true healing and wholeness. There is hope in healing and we invite you to explore this approach with Kati or Kristen.
